To add an image to your post, you first have to upload the image from your local computer to the PrayerGuard server. The Image Upload form is located just below the Post Content box on the Post editing page.
The Upload tab allows you to upload an image from your local computer to the PrayerGuard web server.
This is done in 2 steps:
1- Click the “Choose File” button. This will open a file navigation window on your computer. Navigate to and select the image you want to upload.
2- Now, back at the Image Upload form you should see the image file name listed to the right of the “Choose File” button. Selecting the “Upload” button wll put a copy of your image file on the PrayerGuard server.
Now you will be in the Browse tab, and a thumbnail of the image you just uploaded should be visible.
Image Menu Options
If you click once on the image, you will see a menu of options over the top of that image. This menu allows you to set image options before you add the image to your post. To remove the menu click "Close Options". Here is an explanation of the options available.
Using Thumbnail / Using original - Choose small thumbnail size image or Original size.
Not Linked / Linked to Image - You can make the thumbnail image link to the orignal image when visitors click it.
Send to Editor - This adds the code to display the image into the post editing box above. Place your cursor in the appropriate place in your text where you want your image to appear before clicking this option.
Delete - Delete this image from the PrayerGuard server.
Close Options - Close the menu
Once you have uploaded some images, they will be available under the "Browse All" tab of the Upload Image form. When you write a new post, you can just select an image from the 'Browse All" tab that is already uploaded.
